Turning the alarm off is easy. Getting up is hard. DayPlay rings a real alarm through Silent mode and Focus, and with mission lock it does not stop until you finish the first step of your routine.

What makes it different
- A real alarm, not a notification. Built on Apple's AlarmKit (iOS 26 and later), so it breaks through Silent mode, Focus and Do Not Disturb the same way the Clock app does.
- Mission lock. The stop button does not send you back to bed, it opens your routine. The alarm keeps ringing until step one is actually done.
- Counted snoozes. You decide how many snoozes you get. When they run out the snooze button is gone, not greyed out.
- Escape protection. Force quitting the app while the mission is locked re arms the alarm instead of ending it.
- Full screen player. After you are up, one step fills the screen with a big countdown and a single button.
- Honest timing. The summary shows planned versus actual minutes with no flattery.
- Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. The countdown stays in view, and there is an Apple Watch companion.
