DayPlayThe alarm you can't snooze away

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-01

The short version

Your routines, step names, schedules and history stay on your device and are never sent anywhere. There is no account and no DayPlay server. What does leave the device is a small set of anonymous usage counters and subscription events, and you can switch the counters off in Settings.

Who is responsible for your data

Data controller: Halil Berkay Şahin (TheCodevolt), Türkiye. Contact: info@thecodevolt.com. This policy covers the DayPlay iOS app and this website.

What stays on your device only

This data lives in the app container. Deleting DayPlay deletes all of it. You can export a copy at any time from Settings, and that export goes wherever you choose to send it. We never receive it.

What leaves your device

DataWhyWho processes itLegal basis (GDPR)
Anonymous usage counters: which screen opened, whether an alarm rang, whether the first step was finished, which paywall was shown. Never routine or step names. To see where the app fails people and fix it Mixpanel (EU servers) Legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f). You can object at any time by turning the counters off in Settings.

Crash reports: the stack trace, the error type, device model and iOS version at the moment of a crash or a handled error. Never the error message text, never routine or step names. To find and fix crashes, especially in alarms Firebase Crashlytics (Google) Legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f). The same Settings switch that turns usage counters off also turns crash reports off.
Diagnostics from the purchase and analytics SDKs To keep purchases and counters working RevenueCat, Superwall, Mixpanel Legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)

None of this is linked to a name, an email address, or an account, because DayPlay has no accounts. We do not use the advertising identifier and the App Tracking Transparency prompt is never shown.

Turning counters off

Settings > Privacy > Usage counters. When it is off, nothing is sent, crash reports included. No feature of the app changes. The same screen has a button that copies the exact events recorded on your device so you can read them yourself.

How long it is kept

Usage counters are retained for at most 24 months and then deleted. Crash reports are kept by Firebase for 90 days. Subscription records are kept for the life of the subscription plus the period required by tax and consumer protection law. On device data is kept until you delete it or delete the app.

International transfers

Mixpanel processes DayPlay data on servers in the European Union. RevenueCat, Superwall and Google (Firebase Crashlytics) process data in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses. Apple processes payments under its own terms.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and, in Türkiye, under KVKK Article 11, you can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and you can object to processing. Write to info@thecodevolt.com; we answer within 30 days. Because there is no account, please tell us your device model and the approximate first install date so we can locate any records. You can also complain to your local supervisory authority, or in Türkiye to the KVKK authority (kvkk.gov.tr).

Notifications and alarms

Alarms and reminders are scheduled locally by iOS. There is no push server and no remote notification. If you deny the alarm or notification permission, everything else in the app keeps working.

Purchases

DayPlay Pro is sold through Apple's In App Purchase. Apple processes the payment; we never see your name, card, or Apple ID. RevenueCat receives the purchase receipt from Apple so the app can tell whether Pro is active.

Children

DayPlay is not directed at children under 13 and asks for no personal information from anyone, regardless of age.

Changes

If a future version changes what is collected, this page, the App Store privacy label and the in app privacy text are updated together and before that version ships.

Cihazından çıkmayanlar: rutinlerin, adım adların, saatlerin, alarm ayarların ve geçmişin. Bunlar yalnız telefonundaki uygulama alanında durur; uygulamayı silmek hepsini siler. Bizim bir sunucumuz yok, bu verilere erişemeyiz.

Cihazından çıkanlar, amacı ve hukuki sebebi:

  • Anonim kullanım sayaçları (hangi ekran açıldı, alarm çaldı mı, ilk adım bitti mi, hangi paywall gösterildi). Rutin ve adım ADLARI buraya asla girmez. Amaç: uygulamanın nerede işe yaramadığını görüp düzeltmek. Hukuki sebep: KVKK m.5/2-f (meşru menfaat). İşleyen: Mixpanel, AB sunucuları. Ayarlar > Mahremiyet > Kullanım sayaçları'ndan tek dokunuşla kapatabilirsin; kapattığında hiçbir şey gönderilmez.
  • Abonelik olayları (hangi plan, deneme başlangıcı, yenileme, iptal). Amaç: Pro hakkını cihazında açık tutmak. Hukuki sebep: KVKK m.5/2-c (sözleşmenin ifası). İşleyen: RevenueCat, Superwall.
  • Çökme raporu (çökme ya da yakalanan hata anındaki yığın izi, hata türü, cihaz modeli, iOS sürümü). Hata mesajının metni ve rutin/adım adları gitmez. Amaç: çökmeyi, özellikle alarmdakini, bulup gidermek. Hukuki sebep: KVKK m.5/2-f. İşleyen: Firebase Crashlytics (Google). Kullanım sayaçlarını kapatan anahtar bunu da kapatır.
  • Satın alma ve analitik SDK'larının teşhis verisi. Amaç: satın almanın ve sayaçların çalışması. Hukuki sebep: KVKK m.5/2-f.
